Preserving for the winter continues in October. Young and old, we all participated so we are ready when the winter comes. Beans, vegetables, pickles, they are all ready.(1-4)

           School started again so the volunteer Rebeka began the English Language lessons. Praise God for her!!(5)

           The children’s creation panel reflects the outside atmosphere. The children and their instructor, Catalina created a beautiful corner full of imagination.(6-10)

           Nature has the ability to always surprise us so we got the first snow.(11-12)

           We were also pleasantly surprised by the Romanian State (which is not very common for us). The children received some school supplies which they were very useful and it saves us some money.(13)

           We received a visit from a very dear boy called Vlad Ciorhan who was raised in our home so we were very happy to see him again. He came unexpected, in an evening night for a short visit. He came back to Romania after spending 5 months at his sister, in Irland. Now, he lives in Piatra Neamt at another sister of his.(14)

           We also received the visit of Kathy Joy a english lady. She was involved 15 years ago when we built the Casa Ray house. She came with other 3 colaborators and we spent a beautiful day and a half. We shared old memories and we had a great time together.(15, 16)

          We also received in the middle of October the visit of another friend of ours, Michaela Khulman who brought a first time visitor from Albania, Andi. The purpose of the visit was the consolidation of relations, experience exchange, advises and share experiences. So, again, we had a great time, useful time.(17)

          An unexpected surprise did Rachel Marshall (Gavril) with her husband Robert for us. Thesy just poped by. We had no ideea they were coming and we were very happy to see them. We would like to have these kind of surprises all the time.(18)

          Trevor, an old and dear friend, came with a friend of his own, Paul, so feel very blessed to get to know people from miles away. We share so many things together!!! Loving Jesus and our faiths and desire to help others connects us!!(19)

          Last but not least, we had Hans Alt, a friend from Germany, with a BIG heart and has helped us a thousand times, came to visit with 4 of his friends. They all wanted to see the evolution of the buildings construction, we discuss about the summer camp we hoasted and the next steps we plan ahead.(20)

          We are trying hard to finish the new buildings so we have roofs by the snow coming. The first floor is much ahead of the second floor but as long as the weather lets us we will go on with the work. A big burden for us is the payment of the electrical installation, the fire hasard alarm installation and lightning protection system, which rises somewhere around the amount of Eur 25,000, amount which we did not expect and we was not ready for this. Without the electrical installation we can not go on with the works and we have to stick with the Fire Department regulations.(21-31)

           Madalin and Ana started another year of their lives this month. Madalin has turned 13 and Ana 17. May God bless them with a long, healthy life! (32-33)

           The end of the month was crowned by the arrival by our new beneficiary called Denisa Mihaela Cojocaru. She is 7, and we received her with open arms. When she was 5 years old, she and her 2 other little brothers were abandoned by her mother and soon, in the next years her father also left them. The years spent with her mom and dad were anyway full of poorness, violence and alcohol. During the night, Denisa has nightmares, panic attacks, but for 2 weeks, though, she has calmed down and she is very peaceful and balanced and we praise God for that!! She is a very sociable and talkative girl! (34,35)
